Ballet Lessons

Class times are as follows;
4-5pm for age 4-6yrs
5-6pm for 7-10yr old. Held at Ker Fitness in bole, 3rd floor of the
Yoly Building.
What to expect in the first class:
1. Warming up with good posture – Learning to stand tall
2. Turn out – all ballet positions begin with feet turned out from the hips
3. Strong feet – practise feeling different parts of your foot stretch
4. At the barre – holding lightly to the handrail to keep your balance bending slowly develops strength in the leg muscles.
5. Plie in first position – standing with heels together bend and
stretch to releve.
6. Travelling movements – using the space in the room
to move forwards
