Punta del Este Expats

After returning to Punta del Este in late 2007 I found a growing and very diverse community of foreigners, most of whom had recently settled. A series of expat groups have emerged along the entire coast of Uruguay, from Colonia to Punta del Este, and our blog caters to those residing or interested in settling in Punta del Este or its surroundings.
It's not a guide and it's not "as seen through the fresh eyes of the newly arrived" but rather more of a snapshot of who we are, the kinds of things we are interested in, or the lives we lead here. There are multiple contributors from among the expat community, whose nationalities span the five continents.

We visited Uruguy five years ago and fell in love with the people and culture. Do you have any advice or recomendations of an honest and bilingual real estate broker in that area? Many thanks.
