When I was planning my move to Uruguay I realized just how very little information is available on this little gem of a country down south....so I decided to tell the good people a little of what they want to know! How to find and apartment, what to bring, how to get residency, what to see and do....and more! Hopefully itīll help YOU feel a little more prepared, luckily the unknown suits me down to the ground :)

      • Very helpful blog! I have been looking into moving to Cuenca, Ecuador but due to the fact that I will only qualify for the tourist (6 month) visa, I've been looking into other countries to move around to. I want to reside in South America for about 3 years and I'm thinking I will need to spend about 6 months in each country.
