    • Hi,
I'm an American architect, married to a Brazilian, and I've been living for 18 months in Porto Alegre. I've enjoyed skipping through your posts, and I just wanted to send and appreciation for your honesty, effort and POV. Living here is not all missing home, partying, being inconvenienced, partying. It's just life, with occasionally startling differences. It's been nice to hear a familiar voice (American/English) in a familiar situation. Blog on! Erik
