Hi Philip, please would you kindly leave a message on our blog with your e-mail (your e-mail address won't show up on the blog) and then we can e-mail you directly and chat more.
We have met so many expats and soon to be expats through our blog. We're really looking forward to greeting a family that are arriving in New Zealand at the end of November - they're emigrating here from the UK.
Day to day living in Wellington is so easy with amazing facilities per head of population. It has a warm 'heart' to it. People are exceedingly open and friendly. There are many expats here too. When we know a little bit more about what you're looking for in terms of work, accommodation, lifestyle etc. we'll be able to give you a ton of information.
Dan works in I.T. and has set up his own software development business after ten year's in the 'industry' in Wellington. I have worked with corporates and charitable organisations in Wellington and am currently a stay-at-home-Mum so have a ton of knowledge on child-care, schools, play-groups etc. for families.
We've lived in many different areas of Wellington, including Brooklyn, Mt Victoria, Northland (near the Botanical Gardens) and currently Houghton Bay. Can't wait to hear from you again and wish you all the best with your plans!
Best wishes,
Sarah & Dan
