Hi Philip, please would you kindly leave a message on our blog with your e-mail (your e-mail address won't show up on the blog) and then we can e-mail you directly and chat more. We have met so many expats and soon to be expats through our blog. We're really looking forward to greeting a family that are arriving in New Zealand at the end of November - they're emigrating here from the UK. Day to day living in Wellington is so easy with amazing facilities per head of population. It has a warm 'heart' to it. People are exceedingly open and friendly. There are many expats here too. When we know a little bit more about what you're looking for in terms of work, accommodation, lifestyle etc. we'll be able to give you a ton of information. Dan works in I.T. and has set up his own software development business after ten year's in the 'industry' in Wellington. I have worked with corporates and charitable organisations in Wellington and am currently a stay-at-home-Mum so have a ton of knowledge on child-care, schools, play-groups etc. for families. We've lived in many different areas of Wellington, including Brooklyn, Mt Victoria, Northland (near the Botanical Gardens) and currently Houghton Bay.
