NetGuide Magazine 'NZ Site of the Month' - Oct 2009. My partner and I are two expat American city boys who finally stopped globetrotting and ended up on 20 acres with an olive grove in rural New Zealand. 'Moon Over Martinborough' is my little blog about living a simple yet deeply satisfying life in one of the word's most beautiful places.

My partner and I are two American city boys who ended up in New Zealand via Japan. We have 20 acres with an olive grove in the Wairarapa valley. We don't know how we landed in paradise, but it's great to be here.
Hi Dom. I don't know much about real estate, bu there are some useful links on the Real Estate Institute of NZ website. Good luck!

can anyone tell me about the basics of life in New Zealand. Are there any opportunities for a real estate development professional (small scale/resort or small community). I have made $0 in two years in the USA; recently divorced, kids off to college and alone. Ready to embark on an adventure but MUST work, for money AND sanity...any help? Thanks! Dom
