I have lived in Turkey since 2007 with my amazing wife and 7 kids. Before that we lived in Uzbekistan and before that in Kazakstan. I grew up in Chattanooga, TN, USA. I went to university at Washington & Lee in Lexington, VA and then moved to Los Angeles and did Teach For America. After that I worked at Crystal Cruises before moving to Kazakstan. I had a significant encounter with Jesus when I was younger and He has made all the difference in my life. We moved to Cappadocia in July 2011. I have been blogging on CaptivatingCappadocia.com since October, 2011.
