This is a blog reflecting my perceptions and experiences in Saudi Arabia, everything from food, culture and society, education, and the (sometimes) rapid changes going on in this country. I think there are many misconceptions (or perhaps incomplete perceptions) surrounding Saudi Arabia and its people. I hope this blog will help to bring a different perspective regarding this fascinating nation.

    • It was nice reading your blog. You have many interesting comments about the KSA; a country I have lived in for almost 2 years (in Abha) and still trying to figure out. Take care and keep writing!

      • wow! A lot of studying I supospe, but don't forget to take five minute breaks between studies, because you don't want to overload your brain and when that happens it's likely that you are not going to retain what you have learned. Your school is very similar to mine, we always have something due or exams, I sometimes get overwhelmed, but I have to continue it because I can see the light at the end of the tunnel :=) my parents ask always ask me, when are you going to graduate?, I tell them one more year of torture lol. I guess I don't see them that often because of nursing school and they sometimes wish that there was end to it. I am not trying to discourage you, I highly value education and you have a long way to go, so take it easy and keep the studying up. (I don't know if they have clean water in the Kingdom, but hydrating your body is imperative when you are studying. May Allah make you knowledgeable and make our intentions pure for His sake ameen.salaams
