I am a mom with two kids from different background, the first born is one Asian- Catholic daughter, the second born is Turkish- Muslim son. Our family is based in Doha, Qatar where me and my husband are both working full time. We go home to Philippines and Turkey every year and I intend to blog about our travels and what are the unique things we encounter in the three countries we call home.

  • There are some mixed feelings around locals. It is a matter of what goes and what does not. They are not used to ladies who wear open dresses and tight clothes. Like any country in the world avoid the back streets and places that potentially hold some risk. Avoid eye contact and do not walk too close. Otherwise a great place to be. The corniche on the sea is a lovely area if you need to walk. Many places to eat and to relax. many many Phillipinos
