I am an Englishwoman living in Jerusalem (23yrs) and am now semi-lingual in two languages and torn between two homelands. Since being here I have bought an apartment on my own, undergone IVF and am now a single mother, completed an MA, had the longest holiday ever (23yrs) and am always on the verge of going home.

I am here looking to leave the UK it is cold its dreary and more importantly it is skint
The prospects for employment especially for the young are and are becoming more difficult, it is a rarity to find some one 21 -24 y/o who have worked continually since leaving school.
it is also more difficult to get into university as the grades are becoming more demanding
I am interested in your experiences in Israel.
It also sounds quite difficult to live in Israel from a finacial point of view, work does not pay too high and living is expensive.
so how does one manage??
