June '07 - I got a phone call. It was Italy, telling me I should teach English. I answered the call with excitement and minor panic at the thought of uprooting. Now my life in NYC is on hold as my new career in Italy takes shape!

  • We have a link in common. I have been providing Spaniards with Celta Tefl English courses in Madrid since 1996. I would love to live in Italian as my paternal side of my family hails from Milan. I have legal residency renewable every 5 yrs. and so I have hesitated to relocate to Italia, where things are complex, so I am told.
    How were you able to obtain legal residency and is it still so complex
