Trying my best to be a Yummy Mammy is not coming all that easy. As I set about trying to find myself a respectable, hard working, decent kind of man, as well as raise a child single handed, hold down a career and manage to run the hoover over the carpet every now and then I've realised that maybe, just maybe, I'm trying to achieve the impossible. Maybe not. Read on to find out....

Basically, a stressed out thirtysomething single parent, trying my best to be a Yummy Mammy (and failing!!), hold down a career (not doing too bad on that front), keep the house in order (doing very badly on that one) and trying to send my child out to school everyday with matching socks. I also drink too much (at weekends and only when I'm childless), I smoke too much (but not in the house or near the child), I'm a size 6 (seriously I actually am) and I have huge knockers (thanks to Batman's cheque book). But I can't find a decent bloke to save my life. So I'm secretly hoping that some day Jason Orange from Take That will knock on my door and profess undying love and we'll all live happily ever after. And doing it all while living in a foreign country far from home
Since you are in the UK and I'm on the West Coast of America, timing wise your challenge today is over. I have been looking for your post like the next chapter of an intriguing book......ooooh I hope it all went well and you are at the pub celebrating!!
