I look Asian, but I'm not. Neither is my last name. When I speak, you won't hear an Asian accent. I can't speak any Asian languages. All I have in common with Asians living in Germany is my dark skin, almond-shaped eyes and petite frame. I am a Canadian of Filipino ethnicity living in Germany. I used to enjoy the sport of trying to make that comprehensible to your average German, but after five years that got boring. That is why I added Cosmopolite to my self-description - and rediscovered the fun =)
