My name is Karen and I grew up in New York, lived many years in Michigan and then Maryland, but relocated in the summer of 2011 with my husband and four kids (aged 8-16) to Germany. My husband is German; I met him during an college internship in Germany. The kids had only conversational language skills, but are now fully immersed in local schools. I'm sharing our experiences in my blog "Have Lipstick and Laptop Will Travel." Stop by and say hi!
