Moving abroad is an exciting thing to do, there is a lot to figure out and learn along the way. Things that you didn’t think much about at home now have to be relearned in your new country. The best thing to do is jump in and keep on moving forward with you plans, there is no better expereince for learning about a place than to live there and emerce yourself.
If you are moving to either England or Canada and feeling nervous, read on and find out what you can expect living the life of an expat. It can be a roller coaster of a ride, and a life changing experience you won’t regret. You will find information and links around the website to make your move (long term or short term) easier, along with stories from those of us that have made the move.
I hope you find it a fun, helpful site.

My current visa is a resident visa which was obtained via marriage.
There is an ancestory visa so if you have a UK born parent, or grandparent that is an option, as well you could look at your options if you have parents of an EU country.
Things have gotten more strict over the 5 years I've been here and that is due to the poor economy.
Perhaps the location independent life might be the way to go. Or doing freelance work for a UK company that might potentially sponsor you in the future could be another route.
Good luck!
Looking forward for your answer.
