I am an English lady married to a Dominican, and have been living in the DR for the past 10 years. I used to work in marketing in the UK and left to become a Scuba Diving instructor, travelling the world working in diving before ending up in the DR. I came here on a 6 month contract specifically to learn Spanish and fell in love with the country and the people, so I stayed.
