Hi I'm Lottie. I recently moved to Jakarta from London with my husband. I started my blog soon after we arrived at the end of October 2011 and I am interested in hearing about other ex-pats experiences of living and working abroad. I hope to be starting some voluntary work soon in the free schools here in Jakarta and I am currently working closely with my husband in helping to set up a new university here in Jakarta through the Sampoerna Foundation. We have recently been to the States on business, visiting universities over there and establishing links, making contacts, and hopefully collaborations to work with the new university here. I love drawing and painting and studied Fine Art at university. My husband is an educator, artist and Dean of School of Creative Design in Jakarta. We have a small design business back in London and I am hoping to get lots of inspiration for new projects whilst living and working out in this beautiful part of the world. If you want to read about my adventure so far go to my website lottienevin.com and start at the beginning with 'Yes, we've arrived in Jakarta' - I hope you enjoy reading it and I look forward to seeing other blogs too! Lottie
