a cultural voyage comparing France and China (mainly Hong Kong). I named it after a most hilarious novel about a foreign girl in a Japanese office setting. This, therefore, contains snippets of views of everyday life on two continents.

I started writing a blog for my firstborn to update relatives and friends around the world, and to chronicle the life of a little boy growing up, through his own eyes. I started maintaining a site, scripting using html since 2003. Then I discovered how easy blogging was. His brother Duncan now has a complementary blog. During our summer vacation 2009, I started a new blog on a subject close to my heart - cross-cultural understanding.
