I have been living in the Philippines and have always used Wise to transfer funds from my US bank to my Philipino bank. Wise doesn have service to Cambodia so wonder what most US expats are using?
MoneyGram charges only $1.99 for any amount sent in US dollars to a bank account and zero to mobile wallets so that seems pretty exceptional.
Any thoughts on ABA vs Wing especially in Siem Reap?

Hi. If you are going to use ABA for banking here I suggest MoneyGram since it's included and supported in the ABA mobile app. You could also use RIA but I've had issues with their mobile app. Finally you could just do swift transfers to aba from your US bank. Other options are western union and Xoom. Xoom is more expensive. I just send the money to my partner here and she goes to wing and picks it up. I don't particularly care for messing with money. She just does everything. I drink coffee and walk. Works for us.
