I'm a Canada PR holder with Indian Citizenship. I've heard North American passport holders get higher-paying jobs and can easily migrate to Dubai for a better lifestyle (considering no taxes and a lot more safety and also I've been to Dubai once and I loved it!). My spouse holds the same status as me; however, unlike my wife, I'm eligible to apply for Canadian Citizenship. I'm seeking the community's help in guiding me in the right direction and getting the below questions answered:
1) Is it advisable to get Canadian Citizenship and move to Canada?
2) If I decide to move on Canadian Passport, can I take my spouse with me? If yes, how?
3) Currently my household income after taxes ranges from CAD 6K to 7K/month (equivalent to 16k to 19k UAE Dirham) in Canada. How much do I need to make to maintain the same lifestyle in Dubai considering we are just a couple with no children as yet?
4) We hope to save some money as our final destination is our home country and we want to retire there.
Kindly advise and help me make the right decision.
