I don't have any specialist knowledge about recognition of overseas qualifications here in Australia but as far as I know, it will depend on the kind of qualification you have, the type of work/industry or further study you want to do and the Australian State or Territory you plan to work/study in.Can you find what you need at one of these links?

lists industry specific 'assessing authorities' who would be able to provide advice regarding recognition of international qualifications in that specific industry.
